They’re very aware they’re a bad person and are aware that they take it too far all the time when it comes to insults/arguments even off duty. It’s not that they don’t care they just know they’re too far gone. They’re really mean to certain people (Spy mainly.) and they know it but they just brush it off.

Then they get pissed when someone treats them like shit back, they don’t understand why no one wants to drink with them so they smoke outside alone at like 11PM because they’re an asshole.

Like not even a fun asshole most of the time, they’re just mean and seemingly apathetic. They have bad/low empathy I think, it really depends . They make me so crazy

Their behavior can’t even entirely be excused by a shit childhood because it’s been decades they had plenty of time to change . Like their background is a reasoning but I don’t want it to be an excuse

I knowwww tf2 is inherently comedic and ofc they’d be treated that way in most of the media 😭 but I def think in like the comics or sfm’s it’s something you could absolutely pick up on .I don’t know I don’t know !!!

They come from a household with such prissy perfect expectations so it’s like. A caged dog trained terribly being set free, they’re so self destructive but that’s ALL they know they’ll be your best friend your guard dog or they’ll slowly pick at your psyche

And that’s the problem. If he tells Yuu anything, sooner or later Yuu would get around to asking why they broke up. Ichigo doesn’t owe him an explaination and doesn’t want to talk about it. No matter how he explains it, he doesn’t think Yuu will ever understand how deep that wound goes. His eyes shift Shiro’s direction. “That would just encourage him to talk about it more.” And since the idiot won’t understand, Ichigo thinks Yuu will get himself into trouble. He’d pry. Shiro was right to use the word nosy. “He seems like he’s not paying attention, but he figures things out. Maybe that’s fine with you, I just think it’ll get him hurt.”

Ichigo sighs. He’s never hesitated to tell Shiro everything, because for a long time their lives were so closely intertwined, what happened to one of them directly affected them both. He doesn’t share with most other people. Even people he trusts, like Urahara. Not unless it’s immediately relevant. It’s only just occuring to him, that Shiro never noticed he was in Ichigo’s confidence and it was an exclusive circle.

He didn’t realize holding the blankets was going to turn into an entire exchange of looks. He was just trying not to be an ass because Shiro looks like he’s struggling. And clearly Shiro can move his own blankets, Ichigo just wanted to make it clear there was a place for him. Now he’s left waiting to see if Shiro will accept, and bis stomach gives an unpleasant twinge.

When Shiro slides in, he drops the blanket, feeling numb and somehow terrible all at the same time. But keeping him here might be what saves his life. They can survive a horrible night. Ichigo frowns at that answer. More wrong besides someone wanting to kill him? Several someones.

Yuu hobbles out of the bathroom with little wisps of steam still trailing. “You both made the wrong decision.”

Ichigo notes the faint red mark from that soap left on his forehead and tries not to read into that comment. He’s suddenly not sure he has the energy to deal with Yuu. Ichigo presses his lips. “I would’ve stayed, but it was a little loud in there.”

Ichigo delivers in exactly the way Shiro knew he would. He's always been so damn good for Shiro, everything he ever wanted.

Distantly, he hears that sound Ichigo makes and saves it to think about more closely later. At the moment, he's far too distracted to give it the attention it deserves.

He manages a jumbled, wordless sound when Ichigo pushes deep and holds there, letting go of his cock to get that hand on Ichigo too, holding on like his life might depend on it. Ichigo is a pro at making things just a little too intense right at the end. It has Shiro's teeth clenched, along with the rest of his entire self, while he rides out the last of his orgasm and then Ichigo's too.

When he's done, he's slow to unwind from the way he practically clings to Ichigo. Part of him feels guilty about that, like maybe he's using the intense sex as an excuse to be physically close while he can. The other part of him doesn't particularly care. I think the tragedy of Johnny Silverhand is that he really does fall in love. He loved Kerry, he loved Rogue, he loved Alt, I’m sure he loved others. Was he good at showing it? No. Was he good at relationships? Absolutely fucking not. Toxic angry manipulative man child hours. Was he good at communication or managing his emotions or working on himself as a person? Lol. Was he even able to admit to himself how much of a fucker he was? Maybe sometimes. But the love was absolutely there.

Jesus Christ almighty I had a patient last night who spoke a language that we could not get a translator for all night. But apparently the language is similar enough to another language that is really easy to get a translator for, so not only was I fuckin calling interpreter services every hour in the hopes that SOMEONE would magically become available, every other resource I could find was like “we have resources for you for a language your patient doesn’t speak. Is that helpful?”

IT WAS NOT HELPFUL. It’s like if you needed an English translator and people kept being like “hmmmm. Well we’ve got guy who speaks German?” Except it does get to the point of desperation and failed attempts at miming and communication boards that you are like “yeah fuck it, let’s give Hans a shot. He cannot be doing any worse than I am right now.”
